Perform incoming material quality inspections using various metrology equipment. This would include CMM equipment and programming, calipers, micrometers, height gages, surface profilometers, gage pins, etc. Also perform packaging specification inspections, communicate with engineering and manufacturing on specific issues, lifting of material up to 50 lbs, and data input based on results. NOTE: This is a temporary position with an 18 month maximum timeframe with potential for full-time position.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years using metrology equipment listed in job description. AS technical degree preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing based on Y14.5M. Microsoft office knowledge. Ability to work unsupervised. ASQ certification a plus.
